This Old Water Mill was a threshing mill, built hundreds of years ago; the date 1773 has been etched on the extension, so one would assume that the main building was built some time prior to that.
It still has its wheel, millpond and leat and has been converted to a relaxing, comfortable and cosy cottage with all modern conveniences, yet by keeping the stonework and the beams exposed, retains its original character and olde worlde charm.
