Y Felin was a threshing mill built hundreds of years ago. The date 1773 is etched on the extension so we assume that the main building was built prior to that. The mill is now a relaxing, comfortable and cosy family holiday cottage with all modern conveniences. However, by keeping the stonework, the exposed beams and the water wheel it retains its original character and olde worlde charm.

Living Area

Built on a slope, the upper entrance door opens into a spacious open plan living area. On the right, as you walk into the cottage, is the hand crafted kitchen. It is fully equipped with a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, family size electric oven and a gas hob with 5 burners.

Y Felin open plan living area The dining area is on the left, opposite the kitchen. There is a hand made dining table and chairs. The rest of the room is a large sitting area with three sofas, a wood-burner and a tv/dvd player. There are magnificent views from the picture window over the fields to Llanllwni mountain.

A door beside the kitchen area leads to stairs to the lower ground floor. Here there is a utility area containing a washer/dryer and another entrance to the cottage. Additionally, there is a private patio with large barbecue and garden furniture.

Ground Floor

A door from the living room leads into the wheelchair accessible twin bedroom. This room contains two adult size single beds, a wardrobe and dressing table with drawers under. There is a large accessible en-suite shower room with toilet and hand basin. A shower wheelchair is available on request.

Lower Ground Floor

On the lower-ground floor there are two double en-suite bedrooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a toilet, hand basin and bath with shower over. The rooms also have , wardrobes and dressing-tables.
