Easy access for wheelchair user

A cosy holiday cottage for a couple or small family. Originally built on to the farmhouse as accommodation for a lady who used a wheelchair, this single story cottage is also accessible for mobility aid users. A removable ramp is available to enable wheelchair access up the front step.

Living Area

The light and airy living area is open plan. At one end is the sitting room which has a ‘living flame’ stove, tv/dvd player and dining area. The kitchen area, at the other end of the room, has all mod cons including a family size electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer and fridge-freezer. From the patio doors you can enjoy tremendous views across the Teifi Valley and beyond. As they are west facing, you can watch amazing sunsets from the comfort of your sofa.

Outside the patio doors lies Machlud Haul’s secluded garden with barbecue and garden furniture. There are steps, and an easy slope for a wheelchair user, leading down to the garden

Bedrooms

Machlud Haul has two bedrooms. There is a double bed in the master bedroom. Also in the room there is a wardrobe with shelving and dressing table. The bed-heads and bedside units are hand made from wood from our own trees that were the victims of a storm some years ago. The second bedroom has twin beds and a wardrobe with shelving.

The bathroom includes a toilet, hand basin and bath with electric shower over. In addition a swivel bath seat is available for a wheelchair user, on request.
