Wheelchair Friendly Holiday Cottages

Our working farm has self-catering cottages situated around the farm yard. Three of our cottages are wheelchair friendly holiday cottages, making them accessible to as many people as possible. Therefore if you wish to have a holiday together with your extended family or with many of your friends, we have the right cottages for you.

Wheelchair Access Around Cwmiar Farm

A wheelchair user and family feeding the pigsWe have done our utmost to ensure that wheelchair users are able to join in with everyone else on our working farm. There is step free access to most areas on the farm and we have made all our amenities accessible by a wheelchair. That, on the slope of a mountain, was a challenge but we enjoyed it. Wheelchair users are able to access our Club House in which there are a number of games for everyone to enjoy.

Our wheelchair friendly holiday cottages access statements

Our guests tell us they find our wheelchair friendly holiday cottages unique. They enjoy the extraordinary location, the surrounding unspoilt nature and the abundance of animals and birds on the farm. We hope that we have made Cwmiar Farm accessible to all.

“Wonderful Week”

The old mill is superbly converted into a comfortable cottage and everything worked well for a full-time wheelchair user. It’s great the website has a walkthrough video on the website so you can clearly see what the cottages are like. It was a real bonus to reassure us that the old mill would work for us.
